Tanzania is one of the most rewarding destinations in the entire continent of Africa. There are a huge number of destinations that promise a range of attractions for tourists and wildlife enthusiasts coming here. There are a huge number of safari trails offered. The forests here are filled with a range of species of varying kinds, and these provide an extremely exciting experience for tourists.

1. The Island of Zanzibar . . .

Zanzibar Island is home to a huge diversity with respect to animal life, both land and marine. There are a huge number of rewarding attractions such as a beautiful underwater environment, coral reefs, marine life and others.

There are animals such as red colobus monkeys, bush pigs, small antelopes and numerous birds and butterflies. This is also a popular destination with snorkelers and scuba divers. There are a number of colors and variety on offer here.

2. Ngorongoro Crater . . .

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most unique experiences in the entire continent. The crater was at the time of its origin one of the tallest mountains in the world. more than two million years ago, the volcano exploded and collapsed, resulting in a crater that is now part of a conservation area that is home to over 30 000 species and the Maasai people. The animals on offer here include the rare black rhino, the zebra, wildebeest, lions, elephants and more.

3. Serengeti National Park . . .

Serengeti National Park comes in the way of the great wildebeest migration route. These wildebeest migrate in hundreds in this one route and you can stay at a strategically situated lodge that will let you enjoy the sight. The species of wildlife you see is inclusive of Cape buffalo, elephants, lions, leopards, and rhinos.
